7. Create credit notes and customer refunds

Creating a customer refund is processed through credit notes in the cost accounting software. To access credit notes, go to cost accounting, then the left sales menu and select credit notes.

Next Steps:

  • Select Customer
  • Select Product and Quantity

Search for the customer by name or code and click “Search Now” to execute

Once the customer is identified, you will then search for the product to be refunded and add the quantity to refund the click “Process Entries”

Add additional products to the refund using the part code and quantity at the bottom of the form and click “process entries” to add them to the refund form.

  • Choose whether the product should be the return to the store or written off
  • Select the Location where the inventory should be returned or written off
  • Add notes

Always click Update before clicking Process Credit Note
